The most eagerly awaited audio album of NTR’s Janatha Garage was released on the 12th night and almost all the songs turned out to be instant chartbusters. The success of the audio has increased the hype for the film, which is releasing on September 2nd.All the six tracks in Janatha Garage have the typical DSP trademark stamped on them. However, one particular song, the hit number Jayaho Janatha, has been the topic of intense discussions on social media and is receiving a lot of criticism.
The Jayaho Janatha song has complete similarities with the interval fight in Ram Charan’s hit film Yevadu, which was again scored by DSP himself. The background vocals and instrumentation in Yevadu fight is much alike the Janatha Garage’s theme song, Jayaho Janatha.
Tollywood music composers getting inspired and often ‘lifting’ the soundtracks directly from foreign language and other Indian language films and music videos is nothing surprising. But DSP copying and reusing his own composition is definitely a first in Tollywood.
