After a brief hiatus, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up to return to the sets of her upcoming Telugu film Peddi. According to sources close to the production, Janhvi will resume shooting on May 15, with several key sequences planned during this schedule. “She previously filmed for a couple of days in March and also took part in a few promotional photoshoots before taking a break,” the source noted.
In Peddi, Janhvi portrays a simple village girl— a role that required a significant transformation. “She put in a lot of effort to perfect her look and body language for the character, and the results are impressive,” the insider added. On her birthday, the makers released a special poster featuring Janhvi in a vibrant and cheerful mood, giving fans their first look at her rural avatar. The poster quickly went viral and generated strong buzz for the film.
Janhvi will share several key scenes with lead actor Ram Charan, who plays a central role in the film. Ram Charan, who recently returned from London after unveiling his statue at Madame Tussauds on May 9, is also scheduled to resume shooting on May 15. He will continue filming in his rugged avatar for this sports-themed entertainer.
