The much-anticipated film Dragon, starring Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, has received a fresh update on its progress. In an interview with Variety India, music composer Ravi Basrur revealed that shooting is currently in full swing, with the team working steadily to ensure the film lives up to the massive expectations surrounding it.
Basrur also confirmed that the release is now aimed for 2027, surprising many fans who had previously expected a fourth-quarter 2026 release. The makers are reportedly taking extra time to perfect every aspect of the project, from action sequences and production scale to music, with both Prashanth Neel and Jr NTR determined not to compromise on quality.
With such a powerful combination of talent, anticipation for Dragon remains sky-high. While fans will have to wait a little longer, the extra time is expected to deliver a grand cinematic experience worthy of the hype surrounding the NTR–Neel collaboration.
