KA Paul Invites Kavitha to Join Prajashanthi Party

From being the daughter of Telangana’s first Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and a BRS MLC, Kavitha now finds herself as a politician without a party. She was suspended from BRS yesterday for alleged anti-party activities, sparking speculation about her next political move.

With Kavitha currently unattached, discussions are rife in Telangana’s political circles — will she gravitate towards the BJP or the Congress?

Amidst this uncertainty, KA Paul, founder of the Prajashanthi Party, has extended a rather unusual invitation. In a video message, Paul said he would be “more than happy” to welcome Kavitha into his party and even urged her to work under his leadership.

“There’s no better opportunity for Kavitha to secure her political future than now,” Paul stated, adding that she should put to rest the rumors of joining BJP or Congress by embracing Prajashanthi. He also reminded her that his party once hosted a legend like Gaddar, suggesting that she could find safe ground within Prajashanthi.

However, political analysts remain skeptical. Most believe Kavitha is unlikely to consider Paul’s offer. Instead, she may either explore floating her own political outfit or align with a national party to secure her long-term relevance. In this larger political game, experts agree, Paul’s proposal is unlikely to carry much weight.
