In the first version of Baahubali, the magnum opus carved out by Rajamouli, Kalakeya played a pivotal part in stunning audiences. With his iconic Kilikki language, charcoal blackened look and scary antics played a winner. Here is an inside information about this Kalakeya for the second part.
Actually Kalakeya gets killed by Baahubali in first part itself, so the role may be seen only in flash cuts in Baahubali 2 but will not get a full scale presence. Expecting this, Rajamouli is said to have extended the role of Kalakeya’s brother, a character played by Charandeep of “Loafer” fame.
This guy will be playing a full length role in the second part and his clash with Prabhas on war field is said to be epic.
Sharing his success story of Loafer with media today, Charandeep revealed that he will start shooting for Baahubali 2 from March. To what level he takes this new Kalakeya role by striking bigger is what defines his career later in 2017. That’s all for now.
