Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is once again in the spotlight amid controversy. During a public event at a pub in Bangalore, Aryan allegedly made an obscene gesture by showing his middle finger, sparking a complaint to the authorities.

Advocate Owaiz Hussain S, a resident of Sankey Road, submitted a formal complaint to multiple officials, including the DG&IGP, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, DCP (Central Division), Inspector of Cubbon Park Police Station, and the Karnataka State Women’s Commission. The complaint alleges that Aryan’s gesture insulted the modesty of women present at the venue and caused “public discomfort, embarrassment, and emotional distress.” It also claims that the incident reflected poorly on Bengaluru as a “safe and dignified public environment.”

The complaint cites three categories of alleged offences under the BNS: insulting the modesty of women, performing obscene acts in public, and conduct likely to cause public disorder. Several women reportedly stated that Aryan’s gesture was inappropriate and demanded strict action.

This controversy comes at a time when Aryan Khan had recently cleared his name of previous allegations and enjoyed recognition for his work in Bollywood, including his success with a recent blockbuster. The timing is unfortunate, as he was beginning to establish himself as a respected filmmaker. Shah Rukh Khan has also faced criticism due to the incident, highlighting the need for careful guidance and image management. Observers suggest that it may be time for the Bollywood superstar to leverage his experience to help rebrand and safeguard his son’s public image.
