Rajasekhar’s Kalki has been making a lot of noise across social media platforms with its intriguing promos. However, the buzz is not translating into collections going by the pre bookings.
Advance bookings on ticketing portals for Kalki are very dull, which means the film will have to rely upon bookings at the counter.
Kalki will have to generate positive word of mouth to register decent footfalls in its opening weekend.
With some notable films lined up for release in July, Kalki should make the most of its first weekend where it is clashing with another low budget film Brochevarevarura.
Thanks to Rajasekhar’s previous film Garuda Vega, the business of Kalki was closed very early for a handsome deal.
Kalki should collect almost double to what Garuda Vega collected to be a safe venture for its buyers. So the film will need a great start to ensure safety of buyers investment.
Kalki is directed by Prashanth Varma who made an impressive first film Awe produced by Nani.
