Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut is known for expressing candid opinions on issues others avoid. In her latest Instagram post, she highlighted how superstars in Bollywood often overshadow and bully filmmakers, contrasting it with Hollywood, where directors like Spielberg, Tarantino, and Nolan often hold equal or greater stature than actors.
Kangana praised director Aditya Dhar for the overwhelming success of his film Dhurandhar 2, calling him a “superstar director” and noting that his achievements set an inspiring example for aspiring filmmakers. She wrote that Indian filmmakers often remain overworked, underpaid, and unrecognized, which discourages young talent from pursuing careers behind the camera.
Kangana’s post emphasized the importance of giving filmmakers their due respect, applauding Dhar for shining brighter than many actors and inspiring the next generation to elevate the Indian film industry. Several prominent Tollywood stars, including Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR, also lauded Dhar for his exceptional work.
