Filmmaker Karan Johar, known for speaking his mind, recently took to social media to voice his concerns about certain podcasters and self-proclaimed astrologers in the entertainment space.
Karan criticized a section of podcasters who invite guests that make offensive or disrespectful remarks about celebrities and industry professionals. He highlighted that some individuals with no real connection to cinema often make absurd and harmful comments about the film fraternity.
“While I have immense respect for credible media professionals, a sub-culture of podcasters has emerged — inviting guests who have nothing to lose and spew venom against hardworking and legendary members of our industry. This needs to stop! Additionally, psychics and astrologers making insensitive predictions, even about someone’s death, is both disturbing and unacceptable. Free speech is fine, but using it as clickbait is not!” he wrote.
On the professional front, Karan Johar’s last production venture was Dhadak 2.
