Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan recently jumped on the latest internet trend with a humorous twist that left fans entertained. He recreated the viral video of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot from a Coldplay concert—a clip that stirred controversy amid rumors of an alleged affair. But Kartik’s version had a completely different, light-hearted spin.
In a funny Instagram post, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor shared a video with the caption, “Fitness freak Kartik Aaryan caught cheating on his diet at the Coldplay concert last night.” The video shows Kartik sneaking a bite of chocolate, only to quickly spit it out on his palm when he realizes he’s been “caught on camera.” In a comic recovery, he exits the frame and then reappears, lifting dumbbells as if trying to undo the damage. He captioned the post, “Almost got fired…”, taking a clever dig at the original viral clip that inspired the trend.
This amusing take is especially relevant as Kartik has been on a strict fitness routine ever since preparing for his intense role in the 2024 release Chandu Champion. Even so, it seems not even the most committed fitness freaks can resist the occasional cheat treat!
On the professional front, Kartik is currently filming Karan Johar’s upcoming romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan. He was recently seen on location with co-star Jackie Shroff, and the duo had a light moment video-calling filmmaker Subhash Ghai. The film also stars Ananya Panday as the female lead, marking her second collaboration with Kartik after their 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh.
The project is being helmed by director Sameer Vidwans and is backed by Karan Johar along with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. The film is slated for a February 13, 2026 release, making it a perfect pre-Valentine’s Day entertainer.
