BRS leader and MLC Kavitha has openly criticized her party for removing her from the honorary president post of the Telangana Coal Miners Union. She called the decision—taken overnight while she is in the US—illegal and insulting.
In a strongly worded letter addressed to the Singareni workers, Kavitha questioned the party leadership and alleged that the appointment of BRS leader Koppula Eshwar was made behind closed doors, without consulting the workers. She described it as a violation of labor laws and urged miners not to accept the decision.
Kavitha further claimed that this move is part of a larger conspiracy against her within the party. She noted that her earlier letters, which raised concerns about internal party issues, had already caused discomfort, and this latest action is a continuation of attempts to sideline her.
She alleged that no elections were conducted for the union, and changes were implemented without considering the wishes of the workers. Calling it an insult to both her and the union, Kavitha warned that she would expose those behind the conspiracy.
Concluding her letter, she stated that her removal is politically motivated and made it clear that she would not remain silent.
