Given the maverick ways of Telangana State CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, it wouldn’t be that difficult to gauge the fact that he can change his stand easily and with a nice excuse where others can’t even question him.
This relates to his growing closeness with BJP leadership with overtures to join NDA, and his praise of Modi, whom he had not so long ago, termed as Sannasi. The change has now been reversed again.
While campaigning for the victory of MLC candidates from TRS, KCR compared voting to BJP as equivalent to casting all their votes in a Mori (drain) which has riled BJP really harder in Telangana, who are furious at him.
While some say that shows his displeasure at not being welcomed into NDA even after him sending positive signals, others say that this shows his attempts to project TDP as bad ally and his own party as good ally with good electoral returns in future!
