BJP senior leader N Janardhan Reddy fired a salvo against Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao over the ongoing trouble on the Mallannasagar reservoir in Medak district. He said KCR throttled the voice of opposition and farmers by using police forces during their agitation against the project.
The Chief Minister’s attitude reflected the mindset of Andhra capitalists. Since his ancestors hailed form Andhra, KCR also inherited Andhra genes and destroying the Telangana by his aristocratic rule in the state.
Reddy warned people will revolt against KCR rule if the government did not address people’s issues. Mallannasagar project will displace thousands of families who will also lost their livelihoods. He demanded KCR to scap the project and protect the interests of the farmers.
