The TRS government has pushed the state into a deep debt trap within its two year rule, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President N Uttam Kumar Reddy said.The outstanding debt in the united Andhra Pradesh was Rs 69,000 crore in the last 60 years. Now, the state debt has been doubled nearly Rs 1.25 lakh crore in two years in the TRS government.
Uttam said that all the works were taken up by the government including irrigation projects, mission bhageeratha and other scheme by borrowing the funds from various agencies. The misuse of funds was also high.
He cautioned state would plunge into deep neck financial crisis in the coming days. It was unfortunate that after TRS came to power, the financially surplus state has turned into a debt ridden state.
