Going by reports that TRS is planning to grab GHMC elections this year by hook or crook, there seems to some shivers down the spines of Congress and TDP parties in Hyderabad city region. The strategies adopted by CM KCR seem to be on a high.
There are reports that the TRS party is all set to ensure mass defection of literally all the counselors as well as former councilors from these both parties very soon. This strategy fits in tune with KCR’s plan of showing his power in Hyderabad.
This is something he was never able to do in the party’s 13-year history. This was proudly confirmed by former TDP and current TRS leader Teegala Krishna Reddy who said being with ruling party is the best option for everyone who wants a good future politically in the newly formed state.
As strong as the planning and strategy may be, defeating parties like Congress and TDP is not that easy in Hyderabad. They are filled with strong cadre and even the people have a strong affinity towards both parties. Let us see what happens.
