KCR Trying To Dominate Jagan?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s statement on Monday that he would make all out efforts to make Rayalseema into the “Ratanala Seema” (land of jewels) kicked up a big debate in the social media circles.

KCR, who had a lunch with YSR Congress party MLA and AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation chairperson R K Roja at Nagari, told the reporters that he had fair understanding about every inch of Rayalaseema region and had complete knowledge about how to make its land fertile.

Expressing surprising over his statement, a section of social media wondered whether it is YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy or KCR who is the actual chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

“Who is KCR to talk about providing irrigation to Rayalaseema? Does he know better than Jagan who hails from the hard core Seema region?” a journalist asked.

Secondly, he found fault with KCR for saying that as a big brother, he would help Jagan in developing Rayalaseema.

“It clearly shows that KCR is trying to dominate Jagan and creating an impression among the people that he is guiding the Andhra chief minister,” he said.

CPI Andhra Pradesh secretary K Ramakrishna said KCR should be ashamed of talking about Rayalaseema development.

“Was it not KCR who opposed release of water to drought-hit Rayalaseema from Pothireddypadu? Did he not enter into confrontation with the Rayalaseema leaders on release of water from RDS? Did he not lodge a complaint with the Centre when AP government was releasing water from Srisailam and Nagarjunagar?” he asked.

Another journalist from Andhra wondered why the hell the TRS chief had fought for and got the separate state for Telangana, when he had so much love for Andhra and Rayalaseema.

“It is very clear that KCR had got the state divided only to enjoy power. He knew that as long as the state was united, he would never fulfil his dream. Till the other day, the TRS chief was talking about Andhra colonialism. Now, we do not allow Telangana colonialism in Andhra,” he asserted.
