The use of chartered flight, owned by one of the India’s richest industrialists Gautam Adani, by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to fly off to Chennai to attend DMK leader M Karunanidhi’s funeral brought fresh trouble to the TRS Supremo.
Telangana Congress senior leader A Revanth Reddy made wild allegations against KCR that the CM helped to bring Adani group from out of the crisis by buying power from Chattisgarh at higher prices. KCR entered the agreement with Chattisgarh government for the supply of costly power from thermal plants which have been supplied coal by Adani.
Since Adani is close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, KCR is doing big favours to the company to bail out Adani from the financial crisis, Revanth said providing flight service to KCR by Adani group is part of quid pro quo between the CM and an industrialist.
