Telangana Chief Minister KCR recently went to Delhi, causing everyone to speculate the reason behind his visitation. With KCR trying very much to become a key player in national politics, everyone thought that this was the reason behind his visit to Delhi. However, it is now being said that this is not the case, and that the reason behind his visit is entirely something else.
KCR is said to be in Delhi regarding loans for completing the Kaleshwaram project, the construction of which is completed by 80%. The funding for the project has been mainly provided by nationalized banks, which said that they would give the rest of the loans based on the progress of the construction of the project. With just 20% of the construction work left out, KCR is said to have gone to Delhi to get the remaining amount, which the banks are said to have denied, owing to their new policies.
According to the new policies, for any loan, the Central Government’s signature is needed, which is not in the original agreement for Kaleshwaram. This is said to be causing major problems for KCR. It is now to be seen what will happen in the end.
