KCR’s Media Ban in Telangana Secretariat backfires!

Telangana government has decided to ban the entry of media personnel in to the state secretariat citing that they are causing security issues and parking problems. However this decision of the government did not go well with the media houses and opposition parties.
Massive protests took place today opposing the move forcing KCR to rethink. Media is fearing that the government will continue its iron fist like on Andhra Jyothy if they take this issue light and are intensifying their protests.
Since the ban is intended on all media houses, they have got united against the government. Several leaders reportedly asked KCR to rethink as the media may act against the government during GHMC elections.
Finally KCR offered to come to Press academy tomorrow at 2 PM and discuss the issue with Academy Chairman and Journalist Associations. In all probability the government is likely to postpone the decision till GHMC elections.
It is already known that KCR banned TV9 and Andhra Jyothy channels a month after he came to power for playing foul game with the government. TV9 some how resumed its services through various ways but ABN is still banned in Telangana.
