Telangana CM KCR is bereaved as his elder sister Leelamma has passed away. Leelamma, who had been suffering from illness and was treating at a private hospital in Hyderabad, breathed her last on Monday morning. Learning upon the news, KCR who is in Delhi, has cut short his tour and is returning to Hyderabad by today afternoon.
KCR’s son and Minister KTR too cut short his Sirisilla trip and returned to Hyderabad. KCR’s wife Shoba, son KTR and nephew and Minister Harish Rao have personally visited the hospital. Leelamma’s mortal body is being shifted to her house. KCR’s relatives are reaching Hyderabad to pay respect to Leelamma’s mortal body.
Leelamma is KCR’s fourth sister. Leelamma was married to Shankar Rao from Padiri village, Yellareddypet Mandal of Rajanna Sirisilla district. She is survived by sons Kantha Rao and Madhusudhan. KCR has 10 siblings. Out of 10 siblings, he has 8 elder sisters, one elder brother and one sister. In Feb 2018, KCR’s second sister Vimalabai had passed away.
