KCR’s Speech Strongly Hints at Early Election

Although KCR hasn’t made any official announcement on the impending early election in Telangana, he has given a clear hint and indication that early elections would be held in Telangana. Referring to the point straight and direct including about dissolution of Assembly, KCR has stated that all cabinet ministers, MLAs and MLCs have entrusted him with the responsibility of taking the political decision that would “benefit” the people of Telangana.

KCR said that all these decision would be taken soon and would be made official. KCR also referred to media reports that he would announce poll promises for 2019, he stated that it would be unfair to make such poll promises when he is in an official position of Chief Minister. KCR said that TRS manifesto for 2019 is being prepared under the supervision of Kesava Rao and the manifesto would soon declare what TRS would promise for the people of Telangana in 2019.

While KCR’s speech was aimed at the 2019 general elections and hence expected to have several surprising political statements as well as poll promises, he rather disappointed one and all by not making any such statements. He said TRS party would reveal all its plans, agenda for the general elections.

KCR stuck to his usual and has just read out the list of achievements of his government and also promised to continue them in the future. He talked about Rythu Bandhu and continuing it in future. KCR talked about the provision of drinking water and the efforts of his government to complete it in much advance. He also talked about various government schemes and benefits people have received. But KCR has tight-lipped about what he would do if he is voted to power again. Over all, it’s a mixed speech from KCR.
