Keeravani Drops Surprise: Pawan Tweaks Item Song in Harihara Veeramallu

At the grand launch of the third single Asura Hananam from Harihara Veeramallu, legendary composer M.M. Keeravani surprised fans with a revelation no one expected — the film features an item number titled Tara Sitara. But what makes it more intriguing is that the song underwent a lyrical transformation at the request of Pawan Kalyan himself. Originally composed with bold lyrics, the track was toned down after the actor, mindful of his public image and political responsibilities, asked for revisions.

The event, held in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi simultaneously, reflected the film’s pan-Indian ambitions. Asura Hananam follows the success of earlier singles and has already struck a chord with fans, ramping up the excitement ahead of the film’s June 12th release.

Another highlight of the evening was Keeravani’s heartfelt appreciation for Jyothi Krishna, who, according to the composer, took on multiple responsibilities — editing, graphics, and music support — all without the backing of a large technical crew. Keeravani noted that Krishna barely slept during post-production, commending his tireless dedication and calling it “full marks for commitment.”

What made the event feel refreshingly real was the lack of staged soundbites or scripted praise. Instead, it delivered a dose of honest admiration and unexpected updates that now make Harihara Veeramallu stand out not just as a historical epic, but as a film filled with passion, surprises, and evolving vision.
