NTR’s Bollywood debut with “War 2” hasn’t just impacted his own stardom but has also affected his co-stars. The film’s unexpected box office failure broke NTR’s winning streak, which had included back-to-back hits like RRR and Devara. Since then, he has kept a low profile and is now concentrating fully on his upcoming project with Prashanth Neel.
Hrithik Roshan, in contrast, seems largely unfazed by the film’s performance, stating recently that it hasn’t affected him. Kiara Advani, however, appears to have taken the biggest hit. She reportedly had a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films, who intended to make her a prominent face in their spy universe, even featuring her in a bikini for the first time to leverage her glamour appeal.
With “War 2” underperforming, YRF is reportedly revisiting its plans, and Kiara, currently on maternity leave after the birth of her first child, may no longer continue as part of the YRF spy lineup.
