Glam doll Kiara Advani seem to be on a signing spree of films. After Kabir Singhsuccess, she has got many films underway. Currently her film Indoo ki Jawaniis good to go to be out on next Friday in theatres.
Latest reports state movie director-producer Ashutosh Gowariker is gearing up to introduce the moving story of a lady who began the famous chain of ‘Lijjat’that rose to a biggest FMCG conglomerate. It produces Indian snack bites like ‘pappad’, ‘khakhra’ and ‘vadi’ among others. Kiara Advani will play the lead role in the film based on Lijjat papad success story, which has been named ‘Karram Kurram’
The film obtains its title from Lijjat Papad’s mainstream Karram Kurram jingle advertisement. It will portray the story that chronicles the incidents ofa housewife who began a woman’ co-operative association to make an occupation for herself and six other uneducated homemakers who were good at cooking.
The association developed and upscaled to employ more women. At present, the Mahila Griha Udyog Lijjat Pappad has empowered them in rewarding with monetary assistance to make them self dependent.
Produced by Sunita and Ashutosh Gowariker, Karram Kurram will be helmed under Ashutosh Gowariker Productions by Glenn Baretto and Ankush Mohla, who have done assistant direction for Ashutosh previously.
