Actress Komalee Prasad has firmly denied recent rumors suggesting she is leaving the film industry to return to her medical profession full-time. The speculation began after she shared an Instagram post where she was seen wearing a dentist’s apron, leading many to assume she was transitioning back into dentistry.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Komalee addressed the confusion, stating that her post had been misunderstood. “Hello everyone, hope it’s a good day. I’ve seen that my recent post in an apron has created an ‘UNEXPECTED MISUNDERSTANDING’ that I have become a full-time doctor and that I’m planning to quit acting,” she wrote. “Several articles and reels from reputed media houses have caught my attention, and I want to clarify that there’s no truth to these claims.”
She reaffirmed her passion and dedication to acting, calling it a career she has built with “sweat and blood.” Expressing gratitude, she said, “By Shiva’s grace, my film journey is going well. Destiny has led me to this path of chasing art, and I’ll continue to give it my all till the end.”
Komalee also thanked her fans for their unwavering support and hinted at exciting updates. “I’m carefully choosing my scripts, and I promise to make you all proud with the upcoming announcements,” she added.
Professionally, Komalee was last seen in the action thriller HIT: The Third Case. She is currently gearing up for the release of the romantic drama Sasivadane, along with several other promising projects in the pipeline.
