As we know top writer Kona Venkat triggered controversy resorting to appalling exegesis on director Srinu Vaitla. Kona was reluctant to be owning responsibility for the failure of ‘Bruce Lee’. Instead, he disparaged the director Srinu Vaitla alleging he hadn’t inducted the scenes written by him. Nor Kona has come forward to accept the ‘Akhil’s failure as his failure.
While interacting with the media, Kona appeared to have vexed with the big stars’ movies and threw a challenge that he wouldn’t do any more movies with big stars as they merely made as routine mass entertainers. He proclaimed that he would take up small budget movies which he felt the best choice to showcase his creativity. However, all the hopes, which have been pinned by Kona with ‘Shankarabharanam’ seem to have gone futile as the movie carried mixed reports on the day one of its release. Since big movies as well as small budget movies like ‘Shankarabharam’ have got negative results, Kona, perhaps, could have gone to a state dilemma whether what to do or what not to do.
