In an unfortunate event, a fun trip to a waterfall turned tragic as an NRI breathed his last in New York City in the United States. The deceased person hails from the Krishna district. His family members and friends could not believe that he passed away.
Going into details, one Nekkalapu Harish Chowdary who is from the Krishna district has been living in Canada for eight years now. He is just 35. Harish is married to Sai Sowmya who is from Vijayawada.
Victim Harish and a few other friends went on a small trip to the famous Ithaca waterfalls in New York City. It is said that Harish decided to climb the base of the waterfalls to take some good pictures as the location was very lively.
Sadly, Harish lost his grip and fell into the water. As he directly fell into the water, he sustained injuries and was taken to the nearby facility. Unfortunately, he was declared dead by the medical officer. The efforts made by his friends and officials did not pay off sadly.
After sustaining injuries, the victim reportedly drowned in the waterfalls. Seeing that the victim drowned, people jumped into the water and pulled him out. The Police officers were informed about this. After reaching the spot, the police officers gave CPR before the ambulance reaches the spot.
After the Police administered Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) to Nekkalapu Harish Chowdary, he was rushed to the Cayuga Medical Center for medical treatment. Sadly, he passed away upon reaching the medical centre.
The Ithaca Fire Department was called for rescue operations to save the victim who was drowned in the waterfalls. The incident occurred around 2 PM reportedly and the Fire Department was called for help immediately. After pulling the person out of the water, the Fire Department officials left the spot.
Going by the details mentioned by the local media, Nekkalapu Harish Chowdary lives in Ontario, Canada. He is holding a good position and works for a major automobile company. The due procedure is underway and the mortal remains of the victim might get shifted to his native place for the last rites.
