The teaser of “Kalki” has impressed Telugu folks though hero Rajasekhar’s recent political stints whether in MAA election or in his campaign for YSR Congress are not so impressive.
And then, there is another aspect of this film’s teaser that is being widely discussed now. Directed by Prashanth Varma of Awe movie fame, Kalki teaser gave nothing about the content. But the visuals have something hidden in them and here is the observation.
Way back in the 80s, an incident in Krishna district where a freshwater lake was poisoned to kill three big families that are drawing water from that body has stunned many. At the same time in Guntur district, there was another incident where people belonging to a particular colony are hacked to death by villagers as that colony men are harassing ladies of the village. If you look at the teaser closer, these two incidents are being seen quite expressively.
While Rajasekhar is said to be playing the role of a police inspector, it looks like the film is weaved as a vintage drama with some of the ruthless real incidents as the backdrop.
