Young Tollywood actress Krithi shot to fame with her sensational debut Uppena, which became a blockbuster and established her as a youth favorite. Her glamorous screen presence and impeccable acting skills helped her consolidate her position with hits like Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju, marking her as one of the most promising actresses of her generation.
However, her career faced a setback with consecutive flops including Custody, Manamey, The Warrior, and Macherla Niyojakavargam. These failures significantly affected her standing in Tollywood, limiting her offers and slowing down her career momentum.
Fortunately, the Tamil film industry provided a fresh avenue. Krithi secured several prominent roles alongside well-known actors in Kollywood. About three years ago, she signed three major Tamil projects and completed shooting. Unfortunately, production delays pushed back their release dates.
Now, all three films are set to release in December, giving Krithi a crucial opportunity to revive her career. The lineup includes Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy, an action-comedy; Pradeep Ranganathan’s Love Insurance, a youthful entertainer; and Ravi Mohan’s Genie, a fantasy-adventure drama. With these releases, Krithi Shetty is hoping to bounce back and achieve at least one major hit this December, reigniting her career trajectory.
