KTR Clears Rumours, Faces SIT Probe in Phone Tapping Case

Former Telangana IT Minister and BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) today in connection with the phone tapping case. Before heading to the police station for questioning, KTR addressed the media and made several strong and emotional statements.

Speaking firmly, KTR said that he has never committed any illegal or immoral act in his life. He alleged that there has been a sustained attempt to malign his image through false propaganda. “There has been relentless character assassination against me,” KTR stated, adding that baseless rumours were deliberately spread claiming that he consumes drugs and has relationships with film heroines.

Clarifying these allegations publicly, KTR asserted that he has never indulged in any illegal activity or unethical behaviour and stood by his words with complete confidence. He said such unfounded rumours were circulated by certain political groups with the sole intention of damaging his reputation. It was evident that KTR was deeply hurt by these accusations, which prompted him to clear the air before facing the investigation.

Commenting on the SIT probe, KTR made an interesting remark, saying that he would question the police officials himself. “I will ask the police department what exactly went wrong and what mistake our government supposedly committed,” he said, expressing confidence that the truth would come out during the investigation.

KTR’s statements have sparked fresh political debate, with many viewing his comments as a direct challenge to the ongoing probe and the forces behind it.
