KTR Targets Revanth Reddy with Aggressive Language in Telangana Roadshow

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana politics have long been known for their vocal confrontations and sharp exchanges. This tendency was on full display once again as BRS leader K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) targeted Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy with aggressive and provocative language.

During a BRS roadshow last night, KTR did not hold back while commenting on Revanth Reddy. He remarked, “Ee Revanth Reddy gaadu emi peekaledu… vaadoka pottodu, inthe untadu,” alluding to the Chief Minister’s height. The BRS working president continued, “Orei pottoda (Revanth), inkosaari BRS vasthe neeku untadi ra… mamulga undadu.” KTR also reportedly used terms like “Howlagaallu” and other expressions to demean Revanth and other Congress leaders.

In recent times, the language used by political leaders such as Revanth Reddy and KTR has become increasingly overcharged and personal. This trend has reached a point where families may feel compelled to shield children from political broadcasts.

Regardless of political rivalry, such derogatory language against a sitting Chief Minister is regressive and detrimental to the state’s political culture. Unfortunately, this seems to reflect the current tone of political discourse in Telangana.
