BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has increasingly made it a point to reference Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) in his narratives about Telangana’s progress. Recently, KTR shared a video of Chandrababu acknowledging Telangana’s leadership in per capita income, attributing it to effective government policies.
KTR tweeted, “Chief Minister of AP @ncbn Garu has candidly acknowledged on several occasions that Telangana has become the state with the highest per capita income in India because of progressive Govt policies over the last one decade. Thank you CBN Garu. Please educate your erratic erstwhile disciple who is unable to digest this fact.”
In the tweet, KTR cleverly took credit for the progress highlighted by Chandrababu, attributing it to the BRS government’s tenure. He also used the opportunity to take a dig at TPCC chief Revanth Reddy, implying that Chandrababu should educate his former protégé about Telangana’s development.
The tweet sparked a response from a Telugu Desam Party activist, who wrote, “For him to do it, did you educate your friend Jagan or did your father advise him not to rule like a dictator and to adopt progressive policies? No, instead, the father-and-son duo cried day and night about Amaravati and pushed him to destroy it for your selfish benefits.”
This exchange highlights how Chandrababu Naidu continues to remain at the center of political discussions in Telangana, often serving as a focal point for debates and indirect jabs.
