Responding on the prevailing political conditions in Karnataka where BJP formed government despite not having required numbers, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi’s son Tejashwi Yadav has come down heavily on Saffron party. Finding fault with the decision of Governor Vajubhai Vala for inviting BJP to form govt, Tejashwi Yadav has come up with an epic reply. Tejashwi Yadav demanded President to dismiss the incumbent BJP government through its Governor and invite RJD, the single largest party of Bihar to form the govt. He stressed that BJP has formed govt in Bihar only due to post-poll alliance. Tejashwi opined that the Karnataka Governor should have followed Bihar example.
Tejashwi, the former Deputy CM of Bihar, said his dad Lalu Prasad Yadav’s formula of a “Mahagatbandhan” (Grand Alliance) at the national level is the only way to defeat the BJP-led NDA in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. “The Grand Alliance should be on the lines of Laluji’s formula to unite all non-BJP parties by formation of a Mahagatbandhan the like of which defeated the BJP in Bihar,” said Tejashwi. He quickly added that if a grand alliance was not formed at the national level, the BJP would succeed in its attempt to implement the RSS agenda.
Tejashwi also asked the Congress to give more importance to regional parties and their issues.
