Super success of “Ala Modalaindi” at the box office has made lady director Nandini Reddy a sought after name in Tollywood. However, her back to back failures including Jabardasth and Kalyana Vaibhogame, and some plagiarism allegations didn’t’ won her any applauds.
Since then, Nandini is said to be trying to get dates of Arjun Reddy aka Vijay Devarakonda for a movie. Though this urbane hero has earlier given nod for a film, he didn’t agree with the story narrated by this lady director after the stupendous success of Arjun Reddy at the box office.
After a lot of trials, Nandini Reddy is heard taking the help of producer Swapna Dutt (Ashwini Dutt’s daughter) to get the dates of Vijay. Earlier this hero has debuted as a side character in Swapna’s production venture Evade Subramanyam, and that proximity between them has finally come as a help. We hear that Vijay agreed to star in Nandini’s next upon persuasion from Dutt’s daughter.
Okay, getting dates of a hero and making him agree to a story is not a new thing, but Nandini Reddy has to prove herself again this time at the box office. Let’s look forward to it.
