Maruthi is a director who makes movies according to public pulse. He studies the trend and makes entertainers that appeal to the majority of movie audience.Taking a cue from recent trend, Maruthi has added a lengthy comedy scene in his upcoming film Sailaja Reddy Alludu. Apparently, an idea struck Maruthi’s mind while he was watching final scenes of Geetha Govindam.
We are aware that ace comedian Vennela Kishore breathed life into Geetha Govindam towards the end when its graph was sliding down. His lengthy comedy scenes in Chi La Sow also were highly appreciated.Maruthi decided to shoot a lengthy comedy scene on Kishore after realizing about the form he is in. The producers gave him the go-ahead and also were okay with alteration of release plans.
Total sequence was shot in the dark for three days and it will be around seven to nine minutes duration in the film. The scene has come out so well that the team is elated with the end product.Vennela Kishore has a full length role in the film as Chaitanya’s friend. Prudhvi also played a hilarious character after a long time.
Comedy is said to be the main highlight of Sailaja Reddy Alludu that is releasing on Sep 13.
