Bollywood Heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and Bold Queen Kangana Ranaut’s spat is much talked about for quite sometime with their unabashed fight on social media. Both of them indulged in legal as well as social media war shocking all.
In the midst of all this Hrithik Roshan landed in legal trouble when he unintentionally insulted the sentiments of Christians with a tweet attacking Kangana by dragging the revered Pope.
Sometime back Hrithik Roshan in spurt of anger tweeted There r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (I m sure wonderful) women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks (sic).” These tweets came after Hrithik’s ego was hurt when Kangana referred to him as her ‘ex’ in a interview.
Now former Vice-Chairman of Maharashtra Minority Commission Abraham Mathai sent legal notice to Hrithik Roshan demanding apology from the star with in seven days failing which criminal proceedings will be initiated under Sec 295 A IPC.
Marathi lawyer Rizwan Siddique said “Hrithik Roshan has hurt the religious sentiments, feelings and beliefs of Christians (Roman Catholics) all over the world which includes my client as well. My client wants a written public apology from Hrithik Roshan within 7 days,” Neither Hrithik nor his representatives are avaibale for response.
