Thaman Hints at Trivikram’s Epic Ramayana Project

Star music composer Thaman S, who has collaborated extensively with director Trivikram Srinivas in recent years, recently sparked discussions about Trivikram’s future projects.
Thaman revealed that Trivikram already has a script based on the Ramayana, describing it as “phenomenal.” He suggested that if the director pursues it, the film could be truly epic, achieving timeless appeal akin to Mayabazar century from now.
When asked about working with S. S. Rajamouli, Thaman explained that Rajamouli has his trusted team, including M. M. Keeravani and Kaala Bhairava, while he focuses on his own circle of collaborators. He expressed his ambition to deliver a film on the scale of Baahubali with Trivikram and highlighted his ongoing associations with directors K. S. Ravindra and Gopichand Malineni.
Thaman emphasized that large-scale cinematic projects need not be limited to one filmmaker, fueling speculation that Trivikram may be gradually moving toward the grand, larger-than-life storytelling style traditionally dominated by Rajamouli.
