The story unfolds over a single night during the Maasi Kalari festival at the Karumathur Virumandi Temple, where a fight breaks out at the divine Jathara. Sivakarthikeyan is portrayed as God-possessed, and the visuals, intense performances, festival atmosphere, and music by Santosh Narayan are generating curiosity. His look in the teaser has also drawn attention from fans.

Director Sivakumar Murugesan has handled the divine theme well, especially as similar genres are emerging across South India. The teaser has some vibes reminiscent of Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran, but overall, it showcases Sivakarthikeyan making a strong choice with this role. Produced by Kamal Haasan, Seyon is set to release in October 2026, and audiences are eager to see how it performs in theatres.
