Director Mahesh Babu P recently shared personal memories that inspired his latest film, Andhra King Taluka. In an interview with manatelugu, he revealed that many of the emotional moments in the movie are drawn directly from his own life experiences.

Mahesh Babu P explained that he has always been fascinated by the love fans show for their favorite stars. Some scenes in the film, such as a fan holding a star’s hand or the touching Arati Pallu sequence, were inspired by real-life experiences from his younger days.

One particularly memorable story comes from his engineering college years. During the Praja Rajyam campaign, Pawan Kalyan visited a hotel in Vizag. Mahesh Babu P was eager to meet him and, after coordinating with a local MLA office staff member, received a call saying that he might get a chance to deliver dinner being sent from home for Pawan Kalyan. When the team mentioned that the actor wanted bananas after his meal, Mahesh set out late in the evening to find them. He finally managed to get the bananas and deliver them—a small but unforgettable moment that left a lasting impression on him. This incident was later recreated in the film.

The director added that he wants to continue making heartwarming films, as audiences today appreciate simple and pleasant stories. He hopes to explore many new ideas in the future and create movies that leave a lasting, positive impact on viewers’ hearts.
