Former IT minister Nara Lokesh, who is also the son of TDP chief, former AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu is all set to be booked in Franklin Templetion and Fintech valley scams.
Nara Lokesh is facing charges of resorting to huge irregularties in allotment of land to Frankling Templetion in Vizag besides siphoning off public funds in the name of setting up Fintech Valley in Vizag, while he was IT minister in his father Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet till last month.
AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy has already constituted a cabinet sub committee to probe the irregularities and scams of previous TDP government.
Following CM’s directions, officials started probing the land allotments made to various IT companies by Lokesh in his capacity as IT minister and son of CM.
Officials are learnt to have gathered solid proofs on how Lokesh flouted all the norms and allotted excess land to Franklin Templeton ignoring the report given by then Chief Secretary. Lokesh is facing allegations of bringing pressure on officials to allot 40 acres to Franklin Templeton while the CS recommended just about 20 acres. Lokesh is alleged to have made crores of rupees from this excess land allotment and caused loss to state exchequer.
Similary, Lokesh is facing charges of siphoning public funds in the name of setting up Fintech Valley and promoting start-ups.
Though, no major progress was made at Fintech Valley, Lokesh is alleged to have pocketed huge public money in the name of promoting Fintech Valley and start-ups.
After all proofs are established against Lokesh, AP CM Jagan will direct officials to book cases against Lokesh.
If proved, Lokesh has to face the jail for causing loss to state exchequer, misuse of his official position for his personal benefits.
