Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh is emerging as a key leader within the NDA alliance, stepping into his role with composure and purpose. His speech at a recent NDA meeting reflected his maturity and clear vision for the state’s future.
While many view the NDA’s historic win as a shared success between TDP, BJP, and Janasena, Lokesh credited the people of Andhra Pradesh as the true driving force behind the triumph. Highlighting that nearly 95% of NDA candidates were elected, Lokesh made it clear that this victory belongs to the voters.
In a gentle yet firm tone, Lokesh urged NDA MLAs and MPs to remain grounded. Drawing a sharp contrast between the current administration and the previous Jagan-led government, he reminded them of the downfall of the past regime, which went from 151 MLAs to just 11. “That decline happened because of irresponsibility and disconnect,” he noted. “We must never repeat those mistakes.”
He encouraged elected representatives to stay closely engaged with their constituents and to foster a culture of regular interaction and public service. Lokesh also called for a healthy, competitive spirit among NDA legislators to ensure steady growth and visible progress in every constituency — a step, he believes, that will drive the overall development of Andhra Pradesh.
