Ace filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to step into a new phase of his career — making his acting debut in a film directed by Arun Mateshwaran. The director, known for his stylish action dramas, is now preparing for a complete physical transformation to fit into the role.
Interestingly, Lokesh is gearing up to portray an action hero on screen. Buzz suggests that he will be paired opposite actress Rachita Ram, though an official confirmation is awaited.
Rachita Ram, who was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, received wide appreciation for her performance as Kalyani, a layered character with vulnerable and grey shades. If cast, her chemistry with Lokesh will surely be a highlight.
To prepare for his debut, Lokesh has already undergone martial arts training in Thailand, ensuring he delivers convincingly in action sequences. The film will reportedly be shot in a single schedule across South India, keeping the production crisp and focused.
