Speaking on his current USA tour, Lokesh Nara explained that his tour has two objectives one is promoting ‘Smart Village/ ward toward Smart AP program’ among NRI Telugus and motivating them to adopt their native village or any other village of their choice and be the catalyst in developing the Village/ State.
Lokesh looks very enthusiastic about this mission as his first meeting on Sunday, 3 May 2015 brought in 600 Telugus with a short notice in Las Angeles and got 126 individuals signing up for adopting a village program.
Lokesh is confident of positive results from the packed week end schedule with 5 programs in 5 cities. While San Jose, New Jersey and Dallas meetings are scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sundays evenings respectively and Chicago and Washington DC meetings are scheduled on the mornings of Saturday and Sunday.
Lokesh also briefed his second objective as meeting Business leaders/ Entrepreneurs and , inviting them to invest in / start operations in the new State of AP.
Lokesh also said that he has already met Dr Rao Mulpuri, CEO of VIEW that manufactures Dynamic Glass, Mr Randhir Thakur, Executive VP, Applied Materials Inc, Global leaders in Precision materials Engg Solutions, Mr Krishna Yarlagadda, President, Imagination that manufactures processors that power all mobile, consumer, automotive, enterprise, infrastructure and embedded electronics, Mr Pradeep Sindhu, CTO, Jupitor, bulling networks, Mr Vijay Gadde, General Counsel, Twitter, Mr Kriti Melkote, Aruba Networks, Mr Vishal Sikka, CEO- Infosys, Mr Vinod Khosla, Founder- Sun Miscro systems, Mr Wim Elfrink, EVP, CISCO, Mr Narayen, CEO, Adobe etc. Lokesh said that all these business meetings ended with a positive note that they would consider coming into new AP State and make necessary investments.
