Akkineni Nagarjuna is by far the happiest Tollywood father if we have to go by the current happenings. On the home front, he recently got his elder son married, while on work front he’s scoring back to back hits and now waiting for the release of Raju Gari Gadhi 2.
A couple of weeks ago when Nagarjuna appeared with a clean shave without a moustache, a daring move, however, there are reports that a new style has gone wrong. While the actor himself confirmed that he just experimented for fun, it doesn’t sound believable. Had that happened as an experiment or accident, he would have grown it fully by Chay-Sam marriage, but Nag is noticed with a clean shave every day.
A strange report is now doing rounds in Film Circles that Nagarjuna is chopping off his moustache every other day for the sake of Lord Krishna. Not as a spiritual ‘vratham’ or something, but Nagarjuna was said to have recently given a screen test for the role of Lord Krishna for the upcoming Mahabharata movie being made on a massive budget by a Malayalam filmmaker.
A source in the know revealed that though Nagarjuna was initially offered Karna’s role, he was later asked about his interest in Lord Krishna role, for which he gave a nod. After some repeated screen tests, Nag wants to live in that look for a while, to check out whether he could carry it or not. Seems like, for Lord Krishna role, Nagarjuna is becoming a method actor, isn’t it?
