Actor Pradeep Ranganathan has teamed up with director Vignesh Shivan for the romantic comedy-drama Love Insurance Kompany. The “First Punch” teaser was released today, coinciding with Vinayaka Chavithi, giving fans a glimpse of the film’s futuristic love story set in Chennai in the year 2040.
The teaser hints at the story of a young man who falls in love at first sight in a world shaped by advanced technology. The narrative appears to explore how he wins his love while facing challenges posed by a crooked businessman, played by SJ Suriyah.
Packed with witty futuristic elements, the teaser features references like a Mission Impossible 14 poster with Yash, a smart umbrella with weather predictions, and tracks for running, texting, and cycling, along with a Thalaivar 189 poster. The chemistry between Pradeep Ranganathan and lead actress Krithi Shetty stands out, complemented by the soulful music of Anirudh Ravichander.
The film is jointly produced by Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar under their banners. Love Insurance Kompany is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 17, coinciding with the Diwali festive season.
