While Telugu movie buffs are waiting with bated breath for the release of ‘Kodaka Koteswara Rao’ song from ‘Agnyaathavaasi’, sung by Pawan Kalyan himself, here is an interesting aspect about the song.
Noted lyricist Bhaskar Bhatla penned this song, composed by Anirudh and sung by Pawan. Interestingly, Bhatla is also the writer of ‘Gingidi Gingidi’ song from ‘Guru’ and ‘Mama Ek Peg La’ song from ‘Paisa Vasool’, sung by Venkatesh and Balakrishna respectively. Its very rare to see heroes singing songs in their films, and its even rare that the same lyricist pen those songs.
The songs sung by Venkatesh and Balayya have ‘alcohol’ backdrop to them, they are energetic massy songs with quirky yet catchy lyrics. The voices of Venky and Balayya made them extra special. Kodaka song on the other hand has an entirely different backdrop. Both the songs sung by the senior heroes have become chartbusters, and the same is expected from the song rendered by Pawan.
Kodaka Koteswara Rao song will be unveiled on Dec 31.
