Samantha Akkineni is doing it for the first time in her career eight-long years. Samantha is lending her own voice for the role she is portraying in Mahanati, the biopic of legendary actress Savitri.
Usually, popular singer and dubbing artiste Chinmayi Sripada would dub for Sam. However, Sam has decided to dub for herself this time in the classic film which will see Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salman playing the roles of Savitri and Gemini Ganesan respectively. The film chronicling the life and times of Savitri will feature several real-life roles and Sam is playing a full-length role. Sam’s role has been kept under the wraps.
Sam, who married Chaitanya, has become Telugu Kodalu. She has improved her language phenomenally well. After tying the knot with Chaitu, Sam has worked for films such as Raju Gari Gadhi 2, Rangasthalam and now Mahanati.
