Superstar Mahesh Babu’s sister in law and his wife Namrata Shirodkar’s elder sister Shilpa Shirodkar is making comeback to small screen after ages with a TV serial Silsila Pyar Ka, where she will be seen as Janaki Tiwari, a wealthy industrialist in Bhopal, is very overprotective about her son.
Shilpa who acted in several Hindi films such as Gaja Gamini, Mrityudand, Gopi Kishan and Hum, had bid adieu to films in 2000 after she got married. Shilpa was last seen couple of years ago in a TV show Ek Mutthi Aasmaan in a cameo role.
The veteran actress informed that she has found lot of changes in industry. According to her, attitude of film personalities have been changed. ‘People are more professional now, everything is more scripted, written and there are no last minute changes. Everyone does their homework and come so everyone is more prepared,’ opines Shilpa Shirodkar.
Shilpa Shirodkar feels blessed to be a part of the industry at this time and believes that this is one of the best times the industry has seen.
Interim, the show Silsila Pyar Ka that has Abhay Vakil and Chhavi Pandey in pivotal roles, will be telecasted on Star Plus from January 4th, 2016.
