Mahesh Babu and director SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated magnum opus Varanasi continues to create a buzz among Telugu audiences. The film promises to merge fantastical mythological worlds with a modern cinematic vision, and early glimpses have already shown Mahesh in a Lord Rama avatar.
According to industry buzz, Mahesh Babu will appear in no less than five distinct avatars in the movie. Fans have already seen his Rudra avatar, featuring a buttonless shirt and a Rudraksha around his neck, as well as the brief Lord Rama avatar. The remaining three avatars are said to be visually stunning, challenging, and a first-of-its-kind showcase for the Superstar. After unveiling a six-pack look, there are reports that Mahesh will appear shirtless in some scenes, adding further excitement for film lovers eager to see multiple sides of the actor in a single film.
Currently under production, Varanasi recently faced a minor title conflict, which industry insiders have confirmed has been resolved. The film also features Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani has already captivated fans with the Sanchari song, and anticipation for the movie continues to rise.
