Prabhas’ Rare Long-Term Support for Khammam Old Age Home

Television anchor Suma Kanakala recently shared a heartwarming story about actor Prabhas and his long-term support for an old age home in Khammn Kham, Telangana.
The conversation began when a fan asked Suma to talk about Prabhas on one of her social media posts. She revealed that a few years ago, while helping build an old age home in Khammam, several celebrities came forward to support the cause financially, including Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas.
What stood out, Suma noted, was Prabhas’ continued support even after the home was completed. He has been contributing monthly funds to help cover the daily needs of the elderly living there. Suma praised this long-term commitment, calling it rare in the film industry, and lauded Prabhas for his kind-heartedness.
She also acknowledged the support received through the “Memu Saitham” initiative and thanked Lakshmi Manchu for her involvement. The story quickly gained attention online, with fans appreciating Prabhas’ consistent and silent charitable work.
Earlier, Suma’s husband Rajeev Kanakala mentioned on a podcast that filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli had also contributed to the project, but Prabhas continues to donate regularly even today, a gesture Rajeev called truly admirable.
On the professional front, Prabhas was last seen in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Kalki 2898 AD. He is set to appear next in The Raja Saab, releasing for Sankranthi 2026, and is also working on Fauzi and Spirit.
